Heat Pumps: Heat Your Pool and Conserve Energy
A heat pump works by moving heat energy from one place to another. Typically, heat may be extracted from the air, the ground (soil or bedrock) or water and delivered to where it is needed. Swimming pool heat pumps efficiently extract heat energy from the air by cooling the air over finned heat exchangers, extracting heat into the evaporator of the heat pump.
Heat pumps are enormously efficient, typically consuming around 1kW of electrical energy in order to produce 5kW of heat energy. They make use of energy that would otherwise simply be dissipated and wasted hence they result in far less pollution and lower fuel costs.

Although the initial outlay on a heat pump based pool heating system may be more than another form of pool heating system the ongoing running costs and energy costs are lower so the initial outlay may be quickly recouped. What’s more, they are very easy to install and ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
If you are lucky enought to already have a pool and you are considering a new heating system, or if you are thinking of buying a pool, then take a look at the swimming pool heat pump systems that we have on offer. We can provide you with information and advice on the use of these systems and competetive quotations for supply and installation.
