The new formulation of AquaGarde
We have recently received information from Aquagarde giving details on the best way to switch over to the new Aquagarde Formula. The below text from Aquagarde contains information from a customer who changed over from AquaFinesse to Aquagarde. The now happy customer had to purge their spa in order for Aquagarde to work properly. This process is required for anyone changing over from their exsisting product to Aquagarde whether it be Aquafinesse or more traditional products such as Chlorine.
‘Making sure your customer’s spa is properly prepared for the new formulation of AquaGarde
Please see below the email received from a client who has been using AquaFinesse but started with the original AquaGarde mixture.
Converting to NEW AquaGarde Formula.
The need to clean out the spa first.
What is most interesting in this lady’s email, is the fact she experiences the heavy release of flaking from her spa .
The reason for the flaking in the spa is that the Chlorine tablets being used allow biofilm to build up and to accumulate in the plumbing, this in turn creating a bacterial source in the same manner as with any traditional chemical method. It also means that with the biofilm build up regular levels of chlorine should be used. So what’s the answer?
New Formula AquaGarde attacked this issue in its formulation. Therefore it is crucial, that end users are instructed to use a pipe purge product like Swirl Away or Diluted 3 Kg Soda Ash in a bucket and run it in the old spa water for an evening before starting with the new Formula AquaGarde. If not, the residual sediment in the plumbing of the spa from any other treatment including Aqua Finesse and the old formulation of AquaGarde will otherwise create cloudy water as it is broken down over time.
If you have had problems with cloudy water after converting any customers in the past to the new formula, this is a critical point and one which is absolutely necessary to ensure a satisfied customer.’
Please feel free to comment on your experiences with Aquagarde or Aquafinesse.
